Mike Noe
I am the former editor and director of RockyMountainNews.com, the web site for the Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper that E.W. Scripps closed on Feb. 27, 2009.
Currently, I am working as a consultant with the Naples Daily News in Florida, where I am advising staff about improving its workflow between the various print and online publications.
When I’m not consulting, you’ll likely find me at home in Colorado. I grew up just north of Denver and received my bachelor of sciences degree in journalism from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Hi Mike,
I work with the Hearst Corporation now and we’re having our own mourning here with the Seattle Post and possibly now the San Francisco Chronicle’s uncertain future.
While you may not remember me, I remember working with you 2006-2008 on implementing the AP’s Online Video Network on your website. I was the annoying person that kept emailing you about marketing widgets and promotions.
I’m just writing to tell you how much me and my team at the AP loved working with your paper and how truly proud we were to have our video news product associated with your fine website and its excellent reporting and content. Your community will never be the same without your paper looking out for them and fighting the smaller battles that nobody seems to care about anymore.
I wish you all the luck with whatever adventures you embark on next. I am sure they will be exciting. My best to your team.
